Jodie Leslie

Bio

Singer/song writer Jodie Leslie is about to release her third Album entitled "Born For The Unknown"!  Jodie had the honour of working with Producer Todd Robbins on this project, who has worked with artists such as Trisha Yearwood and Kelly Clarkson.  Some of the musicians on "Born For The Unknown" include Grammy winner/song writer Phil Madeira (known for his work with the Civil Wars), Bruce Bouton (Reba McIntyre), & Nashville's David Davidson String Machine (The Hobbit, Lady Antebellum, Jason Mras). All songs on this album were written by Jodie.

Starting out in the Pop/Rock genre, Jodie had the honour of opening for Canada's Bryan Adams, and well as performing at the Grey Cup in Toronto in 2012. Coming back to her country roots for the second and third album, this once full time horse trainer has toured performing originals in Canada, and Europe - and recently had the honour of sharing the stage with one of Grand Ole Opry's most long standing members, Bill Anderson!

Jodie writes for film as well, having her song "Daylight" on the movie soundtrack to the movie "Refuge" starring Linda Hamilton (The Terminator), and distributed by Warner USA. She also is honoured to have partnered with several Canadian companies over the years, who use her songs - "Veterans Voices of Canada", and "From The Earth Naturally".
