Jan-28-2018 ~ 2017 Alberta Country Music Award Winners!

February 1, 2018 – The Association of Country Music in Alberta (ACMA) announces the winners of the 2017 Alberta Country Music AwardsTM held in Red Deer, Alberta over the past weekend.
Dan Davidson took home a total of 4 ACMA Awards!  His song Barn Burnerco-writen by Clayton Bellamy won for Song of the Year and Single of the Year and Dan himself was the 2017 Male Artist of the Year and Fan's Choice recipient. 

Alee took home her third win for Female Artist of the Year and also took home Album of the Year.

 had a great night winning Video of the Year, Group of the Year and the 2017 Rising Star award

Two of the new awards added, Entertainer of the Year and Horizon Youth Award went to The Road Hammers and Sydney Mae respectively. 

Musician of the Year was awarded to Mitch Jay.

Ian Tyson was inducted into the ACMA Hall of Fame.

Carly Klassen took home her first win for Industry Person of the Year and Calgary Stampede had their 4th straight Talent Buyer of the Year win.

Country Venue of the Year was won by Ranchman's Cookhouse & Dancehall and the new Radio Station of the Year went to 95.5 Real Country Red Deer.
