The 2017 Alberta Country Music Awards™ will be held on January 28th during the ACMA Awards Weekend™, which runs January 27 & 28 2018 at the Sheraton Red Deer Hotel. 

The weekend will include:

Saturday January 27th 2018

12:30 - 2:30: Round table discussions with your panelists: Dave Temple - MCC Recording Studio, Laurie Brown - Porch Swing Entertainment, Samara Lastiwka - Calgary Stampede & Exhibition, Carla Hackman - Sakamoto Agency and Jenn Dalen - 95.5 Real Country and ACMA Board of Directors - Angie Morris, Chard Morrison, & Jody Seeley.

2:45 - 3:30: Seminar #1: The Project WILD Experience: A Q & A Session Hosted by Executive Director of Alberta Music Carly Klassen with 2017 Project WILD Winner Brad Saunders.

3:45 - 4:30: Seminar #2: Untapped Solutions for the Live Music Industry - Hosted by CEO of Muzooka Shawn Wilson

2017 Songwriter Series with performances by Bradly Tucker, Cadillac Junkies, Kym Simon, Lynn Tessari, Ryan Langlois and Devin Cooper - Hosted by Jody Seeley

2017 Industry Awards & Kick-off Party at Billy Bob's Saloon - Doors at 7:00 pm Performances by Garrett Gregory and Aaron Pollock starting at 7:30 pm. There will be four Alberta Country Music Awards given away as well: Industry Person of the Year, Radio Station of the Year, Country Venue of the Year, and Talent Buyer of the Year - Hosted by Jenn Dalen

Sunday January 28th 2018

Fan Fest from 1:30 - 3:30 at Parkland Mall with performances by The Dirt Road Angels, Midnight Lights, Michela Sheedy, Krissy Feniak, Trevor Panczak, Drew Gregory, Andrea Nixon and Tanya Ryan

And the 2017 Gala Dinner & 2017 Alberta County Music Awards™.

  • 7:00 2017 Alberta Country Music Awards with performances by: Blake Reid, Hailey Benedict, Karac Hendriks, Jamie Woodfin, Lauren Mayell, Mikaila Cooper, Nice Horse, Renegade Station and The Orchard. Special performances by Hall of Fame Inductee Ian Tyson and Alberta Music Special Guest Brad Saunders.


Pick up your tickets at the registration table located in the South West lobby of the Sheraton Red Deer Hotel. Open Saturday from 11:00 - 4:00 and Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00.

The 2017 Alberta Country Music Awards will be hosted by Jackie Rae Greening and Emerson Drive front man Brad Mates.

The ACMA™ is pleased to announce country music legend, Ian Tyson, as the 2017 ACMA™ Hall of Fame Inductee. He will be inducted during the 2017 Alberta Country Music Awards.  

 The Annual General Meeting will be held in the Monaco Room, Sheraton Hotel, Red Deer, AB at the hour of 11:00am MST on Sunday January 28, 2018.
